How we verify listing claims

The ways to prove you run a facility when you claim its free listing, and why we ask.

To keep listings safe from impersonation, every claim needs one strong proof plus a final check by our team.

Strong proofs (any one):
- Email at your website's domain. We send a 6-digit code to an address like office@yourstorage.com. Free email (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook…) doesn't count, because anyone can create one.
- Website check: add a meta tag to your home page, upload a small text file, or add a DNS TXT record. We give you the exact value.
- Phone: a code to the facility's public phone number (coming soon). Our team may also call the public number.
- Documents: a business license, utility bill, deed or lease for the property in the business's name. Our team reviews it by hand.

After a strong proof, our team approves the claim and your listing switches over to your account. We never ask for passwords.
