Data ownership & portability

You own your data

Everything you put into Storage Reservations — units, sizes and prices, customers, leases, invoices, payments, documents, messages and website content — belongs to your facility. We never sell it and never use your renters' data to market competing facilities.

Export any time

Facility admins can download a complete export from Settings → Data export in the manager app: a ZIP with CSV and JSON for every major table. No fees, no support ticket.

Leaving

If you cancel, your account stays exportable for 30 days, after which data is deleted from active systems (backups roll off within 35 days), except records we must keep by law.

Renter data

Renters can ask their facility, or us at privacy@storagereservations.com, for a copy or deletion of their information, subject to the facility's legal obligations (for example lien and tax records).
