How getting started works
A clear plan from first call to go-live — with a real person beside you, your data moved for you, and no surprise downtime.
Your onboarding, step by step
Typical timeline for a single facility. We set the actual dates together on your kickoff call.
- Day 1
Tell us about your facility
Find your facility in our wizard (or add it), choose how you want to use Storage Reservations and pick a time to talk. You get a private sandbox with sample units right away.
- Day 1–2
Ownership check & kickoff call
A short video call confirms you own or manage the facility, then we review your unit mix, rates, fees, lease, gate system and current software, and agree on a go-live date.
- Days 2–5
Data migration
Export from your current system (or a spreadsheet). We map and import it into a test copy and send a reconciliation report: tenants, occupancy and balances, old vs. new.
- Days 3–7
Website, payments & equipment
We set up your branded site and listing, connect your Authorize.net merchant account, and — if you want them — the offline POS desk device and PAX card terminal.
- Week 2
Training
Live, screen-shared training for owners and staff, plus step-by-step help articles. Your team practices in the sandbox, so nothing touches real tenants.
- Go-live day
Final import & switch-over
We run the final import, you spot-check, then we publish your site and invite tenants to the portal. Keep your old system as a read-only reference for as long as you like.
- First 30 days
Check-ins
Your onboarding contact checks in after your first billing cycle and first month to tune fees, automations and reports.
An easy transition
We move your data
Tenants, units, leases, balances, notes and gate codes — imported and reconciled with you before anything goes live.
Minimal downtime
The final import and switch happen on your chosen day, usually in a few hours. Your public site stays up throughout.
A team, not a ticket queue
One onboarding contact who knows your facility, plus US-based support by email, chat and phone during business hours.
Training included
Live training for owners and staff, short how-to guides, and a sandbox to practice in.
Your website, ready
A branded, mobile-fast site with live availability and online rentals — on our subdomain or your own domain.
Optional desk equipment
Offline POS device and PAX terminal, configured before go-live if you want them.
What to have ready
- An export or spreadsheet from your current system (we'll send instructions)
- Your rate sheet, fees and current lease or rental agreement
- Merchant account details — or we'll introduce you to our processing partner
- Gate / access-control system name, if you have one
- Who on your team needs a login, and their role
