SMS Terms

The program

Storage Reservations text alerts are account and service text messages sent by the self-storage facility you rent from (through the Storage Reservations software) and, for facility operators, by Storage Reservations. Messages relate to your reservation, rental or account: reservation and move-in confirmations, payment reminders and receipts, past-due and lien-process notices where permitted, gate-code and access notices, maintenance or closure alerts, verification codes, and replies to messages you send. We do not send marketing text messages unless you separately agree to them.

How you opt in

You opt in by checking an unchecked consent box next to your mobile number when you reserve, rent, request a quote, or update your notification settings in your renter account, or by texting a facility's number first. Consent is never a condition of renting or buying anything.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your account activity (typically a few messages a month). Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Help and opting out

  • Reply HELP for help, or contact your facility. Facility operators can contact Storage Reservations through the contact page.
  • Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to stop. You'll receive one confirmation message and no further texts from that number. Reply START to resubscribe.
  • You can also turn text messages off in your renter account under Notifications.

Legal notices that the law or your rental agreement requires are also sent by email or mail, so opting out of texts does not stop those.

Privacy

See our Privacy Policy and the SMS program page. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as the SMS delivery provider) that send messages on our behalf.

Supported carriers

Major US carriers are supported. Compatibility varies by handset and carrier.
