Launch your site: the checklist and the Publish button
New facility sites stay in "Coming soon" until you finish the launch checklist and publish.
You decide when your site goes live. A new facility starts in Coming soon: visitors see a branded holding page while you and your team see the real site when signed in.
The checklist
Open Launch your site in the manager. Each step links to the page where you finish it:
- Site mode: how much of a public presence you want (see "Site modes").
- Owner ID verification: needed before anything goes public or takes online payments. You can skip it in back-office-only mode.
- Business info, address and office hours.
- At least one unit type, or choose "Call for availability" (full website only).
- Theme or template, for full and inquiry websites. You can also keep the default theme.
- Policies and lease template, or confirm you'll use your own paperwork.
- Payments: connect a gateway, or choose "Offline payments only" (cash, cheque, card at the counter).
- Contact method: a phone number or email address.
Then tick I've reviewed my site preview and The information is accurate. The Publish button only switches on once everything is done.
Publishing
Publishing turns off "Coming soon" and records who published it and when in your audit log. If you want marketplace listing, it starts once your owner ID is verified. Changes reach visitors in about 10 seconds.
Going back to Coming soon
You can switch back to "Coming soon" from the launch page at any time. The only exception is when platform support has locked it, in which case you'll need to contact support.
