Online rentals and e-signed leases

What happens when a renter rents online, and how activation works.

When someone rents online they choose a size (or a unit), sign the lease electronically and get a portal account. The lease stays pending until the first invoice is paid.

Activation

  • Record the payment on the invoice, or let the renter pay online once Authorize.net is connected.
  • If you require approval (Settings → Renter verification), paid rentals wait in Verifications until you approve.
  • The gate code is issued automatically on activation.
