What size storage unit do I need?
A 5×10 holds a studio, a 10×10 about one bedroom, a 10×20 a two- to three-bedroom home.
Rules of thumb:
- 5×5: boxes, seasonal items, a small closet.
- 5×10: a studio apartment or a mattress set plus boxes.
- 10×10: about one bedroom of furniture.
- 10×15: two bedrooms.
- 10×20: a two- to three-bedroom home, or a car.
